Meet the team
John Donohoe
Principal - FCCA, AITI
John is a Chartered Certified Accountant who has worked extensively in private practice since 1996. He has also worked for multinationals such as American Express, Estee Lauder and Deutsche Bank. He is a member of the Irish Taxation Institute and is a qualified Tax Advisor.
John has many year’s experience advising owner managers and he has built up solid relationships with all of his clients. His open and approachable style is valued by his clients where he is available to discuss and advise them on the many issues affecting them.
John has a keen interest in gaa having played until recently. He is also involved with training teams at under age level. Other interests include playing squash, 5 aside soccer and reading.
Laura Brophy
Senior Accountant - MIATI,CPA
Laura qualified as an accountant in 2007. She has worked in practice for the last 10 years having previously worked for State Street International Ireland Ltd as a fund Accountant. She is a member of Certified Public Accounts Ireland (CPA) and is currently studying a Diploma in Taxation with the Irish Taxation Institute.
Laura is an avid runner having completed a number of marathons. She is a member of St Laurence O’Toole’s Athletics Club. She also enjoys cycling and is a member of Slaney Valley Cycle Club with whom she has completed a number of sportive and duathlons.
Linda Wafer
Senior Accountant - FCCA
Linda began her accountancy career in Rawlinson Hunter Mazars where she graduated as a member of The Chartered Certified Accountants in 1996. She moved to Industry in 1999 and gained extensive experience as Financial Controller in the Manufacturing Company Qualceram Shires PLC.
Linda returned to practice in 2008 and since then has worked with a diverse portfolio of clients. Linda’s hobbies include walking, reading and is also involved in training gaa under age.
